As Özel Tekstil, our code of ethics policy is structured under the following headings:

 

Honesty: • Honesty and integrity are the primary values in all business processes and relationships of Özel Tekstil İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. We act with truthfulness and honesty in our interactions with employees and all stakeholders.

 

Confidentiality: • Confidential and proprietary information includes trade secrets, financial and other information that could create a competitive disadvantage for Özel Tekstil İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş, as well as information related to personnel rights and information covered by confidentiality agreements with third parties. As employees of Özel Tekstil, we take care to protect the private information of our employees and customers. We safeguard our company’s confidential information and use it only for the purposes of Özel Tekstil.

 

Conflict of Interest: • As employees of Özel Tekstil, we aim to avoid conflicts of interest. We do not seek personal gain from individuals or organizations with which we have business relationships through our current positions, whether for ourselves, our families, or close acquaintances. We refrain from using our identity at Özel Tekstil for personal gain.

 

Establishing and Maintaining a Fair Working Environment: • Our goal is to create a respectful, healthy, safe, and fair working environment that complies with relevant laws and regulations, aiming to enhance employee success, development, and commitment. Özel Tekstil İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş prioritizes the fairness of all practices, such as hiring, compensation, promotions, social benefits, and rewards. Discrimination based on language, religion, sect, age, gender, physical disabilities, political beliefs, etc., is not accepted among employees. We respect employees’ private lives and personal spaces. Violating their inviolability in any way, whether through physical, sexual, or emotional harassment, is against the law and ethical rules, and the company will not tolerate it under any circumstances.

 

Gift Giving and Receiving: • Employees of Özel Tekstil İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş cannot accept any gift, aid, discount, commission, or any other item, whether it has economic value or not, that may compromise their impartiality, behavior, or decisions for their own benefit. Such offers cannot be accepted under any circumstances. Symbolic gifts, awards, promotional samples, etc., that have no doubt about their symbolic value, can be accepted, as long as there is no suspicion about their value. In cases of doubt, the upper management should be consulted. Taking, giving, or offering commissions or bribes is unacceptable in any form. The company will determine the nature of the gifts and promotions to be given to third parties in business relationships. In exceptional cases where local cultural values require mutual gift-giving beyond the values defined in ethical rules, gifts can only be accepted on behalf of the company or with the approval of upper management. In all cases, gift exchange should be done in a manner consistent with local culture. Employees should not borrow from suppliers, consultants, competitors, or customers without the knowledge of the upper management. Those who violate ethical rules or company policies and instructions, and those who approve inappropriate behavior and fail to report it appropriately, may face various disciplinary measures, up to and including termination of employment.

 

Our social responsibility policy emphasizes our commitment to our employees, shareholders, environment, customers, suppliers, competitors, society, and the government on behalf of Özel Tekstil.
