Gift Giving and Receiving: • Employees of Özel Tekstil İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş cannot accept any gift, aid, discount, commission, or any other item, whether it has economic value or not, that may compromise their impartiality, behavior, or decisions for their own benefit. Such offers cannot be accepted under any circumstances. Symbolic gifts, awards, promotional samples, etc., that have no doubt about their symbolic value, can be accepted, as long as there is no suspicion about their value. In cases of doubt, the upper management should be consulted. Taking, giving, or offering commissions or bribes is unacceptable in any form. The company will determine the nature of the gifts and promotions to be given to third parties in business relationships. In exceptional cases where local cultural values require mutual gift-giving beyond the values defined in ethical rules, gifts can only be accepted on behalf of the company or with the approval of upper management. In all cases, gift exchange should be done in a manner consistent with local culture. Employees should not borrow from suppliers, consultants, competitors, or customers without the knowledge of the upper management. Those who violate ethical rules or company policies and instructions, and those who approve inappropriate behavior and fail to report it appropriately, may face various disciplinary measures, up to and including termination of employment.
